Rosen Method bodywork uses gentle touch, talking and compassionate listening to promote physical and emotional healing. Rosen Method explores the feelings and memories that we hold in our bodies, leading to a deeper connection with oneself and greater peace and serenity. During this process, the Rosen practitioner provides emotional support and a caring presence. Marsha Lipshitz has been practicing Rosen Method bodywork in New York City for over 10 years. She has taught workshops at St. Vincent's Hospital, Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, Blanton Peale Psychoanalytic Training Institute and at senior and wellness centers in Manhattan. She brings to Rosen Method the attentive, sensitive presence developed by over 20 years experience with Eugene Gendlin's Focusing.
