Peter Mierkowski is a qualified Psychologist & BACP accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over twelve years experience of working therapeutically with individuals, couples and groups.
Peter brings to his practice a wide experience of working with people from a variety of cultural and social settings. He has worked extensively with gay and lesbian clients.
He is dedicated to the dialogical approach that best addresses the human nature. His particular interest lies in exploration of the person's relationship with self and other.
Peter works in a gentle and invitational way, providing safety and support that nurtures person’s authentic self, facilitates self-expression and creativity, and increases capacity for intimacy with others. He also offers personal development and therapy group facilitation. He draws inspiration from both Gestalt and Object Relation theories.
Peter practices at the Gestalt Centre London (EC2), in Harley Street (W1) and in Hertfordshire.
