Each day find 10 minutes to meditate.
Sit down on an upright chair or on the floor (make sure you're not slouching) and close your eyes. Start to notice your breathing as you breathe in and out. As thoughts occur simply let them go without following them, and bring your attention back to your breath. When your 10 minutes are up (you'll learn to judge this) slowly open your eyes and adjust to your surroundings, before getting up.
